Start Up a Barney Frenzy Party
While wearing your Barney costume, it would be best if you could put on a show for the children. This will require some practice on your part so you can emulate Barney’s action on the show. If you can make a perfect Barney, the children will never know the difference!

It would be more enticing if Barney’s friends can join the party show as well. Since acting with a costume is quite difficult, you and your friends who would wear dinosaur costumes at the party can practice one week before the actual event.

Put on some Barney DVDs and imitate what the real characters are doing on the show. Of course, while wearing the Barney costume, you won’t be able to speak like Barney does. During the event, you can put on the DVD, hide the television from the children, and make Barney “talk” or “sing” using the audio from the DVD. The children will definitely join the fun! Believe it or not, they have memorized all the songs from the show and know exactly how to imitate your Barney moves.

Barney Means Love and Laughter
You may not know it yet but Barney’s daily dose of laughter makes children crack up. Barney teaches them that showing love for others is very important. These teachings allow children to express their love for their parents without feeling shy and afraid. A friend of mine told me that no matter how much her ears bleed whenever Barney sings, her heart simply softens when her five year old daughter rushes to her and hugs her very tight whenever Barney’s “I Love You” song plays.

Barney is a dinosaur character that is popular among kids of all ages. He is a purple dinosaur and is very friendly. He and his friends are featured in television shows which are based on young children’s education. They teach through singing and dancing.

Barney and his friends are large creatures but their different colored appearances and friendly attitude make them lovable. Barney and Friends feature some kids as well who ask Barney different questions and Barney answers them in a fun filled way.

Barney is purple with a green tummy. Barney’s friends are Baby Bop, B.J. and Riff. B.J. is a yellow dinosaur with a green belly and has red dots on  his cheeks and legs. He wears a red hat and shoes. His younger sister is Baby Bop. She is a green colored dinosaur with a purple tummy who wears pink shoes. Riff is an orange colored dinosaur who is B.J’s and Baby Bops’ cousin. These different colored dinosaurs sing rhymes and poems with the kids on the show. They teach alphabets, colors, shapes and related stuff for kids of different age groups.

Barney and Friends do various live shows as well. Kids love all these friendly characters and wear their costumes at fancy dress parties and Halloween.
